Annual Meeting

The BASL Annual Meeting is the highlight of the BASL calendar and the main UK liver meeting.  Eminent UK and overseas speakers will deliver an informative and exciting meeting over three days, with the additional of key lectures and lively debates.

The BASL Nurses Forum Annual Meeting also takes place in parallel on the second day of the main meeting.

Also for 2014, the first British Liver Transplant Day meeting will be held immediately after the main BASL Annual Meeting.  Sponsorship is available for this day alone or in tandem with the main meeting.

School of Hepatology

The purpose of the School is to explore and teach the current pathophysiological basis of therapies in liver disease, as well as guideline-based investigation and treatment. 

The target group is trainees in gastroenterology. Speakers are leading experts with two to three speakers in a given area. And the format of the School is didactic lectures - state of the art, workshops and case studies.

BVHG events

The British Viral Hepatitis Group (BVHG) aims to improve the management and study of patients with chronic liver disease. The BVHG organises several one-day events during the year bringing together a range of specialist healthcare professionals.
