BASL Clinical Community

The BASL Clinical Community provides quality content and interaction with other members. The new online communications hub for BASL offers the following services to members:

• ‘Member of the month’ – the first features an interview with Martin Lombard, BASL member and DH liver “tsar” 
• Resources – upload to share and download (including Podcasts with Graham Foster, David Mutimer and Heiner Wedemeyer, Public Health White Paper responses, Alcohol Concern report - Making alcohol a health priority, BASL abstracts archive, BVHG meeting reports and guidelines, etc.) 
• Discussion forums and Poll of the month – have your say on the hot topical issues 
• News headlines - read clinical, practice and liver-related and NHS policy news  
• Events – view calendar, flag attendance and network around meetings  
• Contacts - organise your own email lists and private message other members with similar interests  
• Ask an expert - help resolve clinical dilemmas by asking a question to other Clinical Communities (e.g. gastroenterologist on the IBDigest Community, pain experts on the PainDedicated Community) 
• Learning Zone - e-learning resources and toolkits.
