BASL - Nurse Forum



 

British Association for the Study of the Liver Nurse Forum

 

BASLNF is an associate forum of the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL). The forum was formed in 2005. It is a professional nursing organisation aiming to develop knowledge and understanding of liver disease through:

  • the advancement of good clinical practice in the care of individuals with, or at risk of liver disease
  • the promotion and dissemination of patient-focussed research
  • the provision of educational support and educational opportunities in the field of hepatology
  • the promotion of a collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to caring for people with liver disease.

Membership of BASL is £20.00 for nurses. Membership benefits include

  • a twice yearly BASLNF newsletter
  • discounted registration fees for the annual BASL meeting
  • free submission of abstracts to the BASL meeting
  • eligibility to apply for the BASL Travel award.

Future meetings will be organised alongside the BASL annual meeting in September (usually the second week).

To apply to become a member of BASL simply download and complete the Membership Application Form and Direct Debit Form and send them to the BASL Membership Secretariat, 2 Southampton Road , Ringwood , BH24 1HY Your name will be added to our mailing list.
